JOYCE E. CAMPBELL JOINS MEDINA HEALTH CENTER AS SENIOR
DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Respected nonprofit leader brings expertise in addressing food insecurity, housing,
and social justice to advance Medina’s holistic vision of healthcare

Trenton, NJ — 9/24/2025 — Medina
Health Center is honored to
announce that Joyce E. Campbell, a
widely respected nonprofit executive
and advocate for vulnerable
populations, has joined the
organization as Senior Development
Consultant.
Campbell’s decades of service —
most recently as Chief Executive
Officer of the Trenton Area Soup
Kitchen (TASK) and previously at
Catholic Charities, Diocese of Trenton
— reflect a career spent addressing
the social determinants that shape community health. From hunger relief and
housing to behavioral health and family support, she has consistently worked
at the intersections of dignity, equity, and access.
Her appointment comes at a time when Medina is expanding its role in Trenton,
reinforcing that healthcare is more than clinical services alone — it is deeply
connected to food, housing, and the networks of care that surround individuals
and families.
Sajid Syed, Board Chair of Medina Health Center, noted: “Joyce has been an
extraordinary leader for Trenton. Having worked alongside her during her time
at TASK, I’ve seen her commitment to lifting up our community in the most
human way. At Medina, she will help us bring that same spirit to healthcare —
making sure it is holistic, collaborative, and rooted in dignity.”
Campbell’s deep experience in navigating community partnerships, securing
resources, and advocating for underserved populations uniquely positions her
to help Medina strengthen its sustainability and expand its impact. Her
leadership underscores Medina’s belief that true healthcare is inseparable
from the broader social and economic conditions that shape well-being.
As Senior Development Consultant , Campbell will oversee Medina’s
fundraising, community partnerships, and long-term sustainability efforts,
helping the center deepen its impact and continue to innovate around
healthcare equity in Mercer County.
